Property Tax Appeal Agreement
You, the owner or owner’s agent (“You”), retain Rainbolt & Co. (Owner & Operator of PropertyTaxReduction.com) to represent you in order to minimize your property tax liability for the property listed below, attached, or added at a later date. Our services can be canceled at any time by sending notice via email to info@rainboltco.com. Rainbolt & Co. will continue to protest your property tax assessment each year until written cancellation is received.
Services
Fee
For these services, we will charge a contingency fee based on the property’s initial market value:
| Initial Market Value | Contingency Fee |
|---|---|
| Under $1,000,000 | 40% |
| $1,000,000 to $3,000,000 | 35% |
| Over $3,000,000 | 30% |
The contingency fee is calculated by taking the difference between the initial and final assessed values, multiplied by your latest known tax rate, multiplied by the contingency fee percentage. There will be no charge of any kind unless your property tax assessment is reduced.
The contingency fee is calculated without regard to exemption amounts offered by individual taxing jurisdictions. If we have records demonstrating you have an over-sixty-five exemption, the contingency fee for that property will be reduced to 25%, regardless of market value.
Miscellaneous
If we are successful in achieving a reduction, you will receive an invoice due upon receipt. After 30 days, the invoice is considered delinquent and any unpaid balance is subject to collection costs and an added interest charge of 1.5% per month. Rainbolt & Co. does not guarantee any specific outcome or result.
Should a property sell within the protested year, you agree to pay the invoice in its entirety. We may withdraw from this Agreement without notice if payment becomes delinquent or if requested information is not provided timely. Rainbolt & Co. is hereby authorized to accept settlement offers or withdraw protests if we determine it to be in your best interest.
